Attention students ...absolutely no students are allowed in the sound and light booth without Mr. Larson’s permission.  This equipment is extremely expensive and should not be touched by anyone without permission.

Mathletics is back! The first Mathletics meet of the year is this Saturday, September 21st right here at Hamilton. No permission slips are required for this home meet, but please sign up on the poster outside Mrs. Lehmann’s room if you plan to attend. All students who have completed or are currently enrolled in an Algebra course are eligible for Mathletics.

PTO BOOK FAIR is going on today 8am-8pm in the elementary library. Buy some books and support the PTO!

Our 1st PTO meeting of the school year will be at 5pm on September 23rd in the Professional Development Room. Please join us to see what we have been up too!

There will be a brief lunch meeting today for NHS candidates. If you received a letter about NHS from Ms. White this summer, and if you are interested in pursuing membership, please come to Ms. White’s room at the beginning of lunch today.

Please see Mrs. Reynolds, Mr. Lepage or Mrs. Marcellus if you would like to sign up for a sports physical. The physical is good for one year and takes you through all 3 seasons.

There will be a Middle School Advocates meeting Friday, Sept 20 during MS lunch. All students in grades 6-8 are welcome.

MS/HS Art Club will meet after school today in Mr. Bane’s room. All members new and returning are welcome to attend. There will be no late bus.

The boys’ varsity soccer team played 100 minutes yesterday, ending in a 1-1 draw with Westmoreland. Peter Klingaman was credited with the goal, while Ben Coddington made 8 saves. The team plays Sauquoit tomorrow at home.

Athletic Events Today

Girls modified soccer at home versus Remsen at 4:30pm.

Girls varsity soccer versus Remsen at SUNY Poly at 5:00pm. Bus leaves at 4:00pm.

Varsity Football at Sauquoit at 7:30pm

Yesterday the cross country teams ran like the wind.  On the varsity level the boys were led by syke Helafant finishing 3rd, Logan McPherson 15th and Koy Robbins 19th.  Caitlyn Acompora ran away from the competition winning the girls race with Lexi Lapp finishing 9th.  Modified continued to improve. June Loranty won the girls race, Joe Berry finished second in the boys race, Will Chouinard 5th and Shunei Yamanato 7th.  Nice job yesterday teams against some very tough competition
