1.         The Balfour Declaration and Britain's Historical Responsibility: It is essential to acknowledge Britain's historical role in the creation of the State of Israel with the Balfour Declaration in 1917. This declaration played a pivotal role in the conflict's origins and laid the foundation for the events that have transpired since then.

2.         Current Humanitarian Situation: The current situation in Palestine is dire, with many Palestinians facing a severe lack of necessities. The recent events, such as the disruption of electricity and water supplies, exacerbate the suffering of Palestinian people and should not be overlooked.

3.         Ongoing Oppression for 75 Years: The Palestinian population has endured decades of systemic oppression, including displacement, land confiscation, and restrictions on their movement. This prolonged suffering requires immediate attention.

4.         Media Bias and Lack of Coverage: Many British media outlets have been accused of bias in their reporting, often failing to provide balanced coverage of the situation and downplaying Israeli actions. The truth must be accurately and impartially reported.

5.         Illegal Occupation and War Crimes: International law is clear regarding the illegality of the occupation of Palestinian territories. Israel has been involved in actions that have raised serious concerns about potential war crimes. These issues must be addressed within the framework of international law.

6.         Balancing Ties with Israel and Accountability: While we acknowledge the importance of maintaining ties with Israel, it is imperative that the UK uses its influence to hold Israel accountable for its actions and comply with international law. Israel's aggressive policies towards countries supporting Palestine, such as Syria and threats towards nations like Egypt, are deeply concerning.

It is perplexing how a country as advanced as Israel, with nuclear capabilities, advanced military technology, and economic prosperity, is often presented as a victim in this situation. It doesn’t sound right, does it? A fair and balanced assessment of the facts is crucial for a just resolution.

Amnesty International, a respected British organization, has documented numerous human rights violations in the region, including those committed by Israel. Their reports support the concerns raised by countless individuals and organizations worldwide.

I urge you to consider these issues seriously and to use your position to advocate for a fair, peaceful, and just resolution to the situation in Palestine. It is crucial that the UK plays a role in promoting justice and human rights within Palestine and that we do not turn a blind eye to the suffering of the Palestinian people. The graphic videos I have had to watch through my lifetime (monthly) regarding the Palestinian people is horrific. There is a plethora of videos of Israeli soldiers laughing and mocking the dead, stripping Palestinians of their dignity, bullying little children, fighting the elderly, the list goes on. The dehumanization of the Palestinians by Israel is one thing but Britain condoning their behaviour by warping the perspective and not speaking out against Israel is abhorrent. We cannot, and will not, stand for this. This is not humanity. This is barbaric.

I would appreciate hearing about your efforts and any steps you plan to take regarding this matter. Thank you for your attention to these critical issues, and I look forward to your response.
