Mr. Alberti^[1] whose wife you painted last summer [9745] told me that you would like to exhibit this portrait, which has in the meantime safely arrived in Vienna, at this year’s Spring Exhibition at the Künstlerhaus.^[2] Mr. Alberti asked me to make the necessary arrangements.

It is therefore an honour, revered Master, whose excellent works I have had the opportunity
