Full Time, Permanent Position
Are you a teacher with tradie experience?

If you are, we have a position that should interest you.
We are seeking someone, preferably with experience in the building industry, to work alongside two groups of senior students in the Ōpuke Innovation Hub at our school.
The position would involve you working closely alongside our Hub Coordinator, wider strategic team and would include direct responsibility for delivering both the Foundational and Senior Trades programmes to our learners.
Remuneration and hours of work would be negotiated based on skills and experience but would be similar to the salary made by teachers with a comparable level of experience.
Mount Hutt College, and the Methven township, lie at the base of Mt Hutt Ski Area. Our wider environment provides a multitude of options for outdoor enthusiasts, including the new Ōpuke Thermal Resort and Spa, and is a haven for those seeking to become part of a family oriented and tight knit community. Just a 25 minute drive away from Ashburton and a 1 hour drive to Christchurch, our location offers a great balance between rural life and urban amenities.
