At Close.io we’re building the sales communication platform of the future. We’ve built a next-generation CRM that eliminates manual data entry and helps sales teams close more deals. We’re looking for our first full-time support team member to join the team!
About you
We’re looking for someone passionate about helping our customers and potential customers get the most out of our software. Every member of our team shares in the responsibilities of doing support, but we need someone who is able to make supporting our customers their #1 focus. You’ll answers questions and solve problems over email and live chat, and occasionally by phone. Our “support stack” currently includes Desk.com, HipChat, Olark, and Close.io.
You should
… be friendly, helpful, and passionate about helping users get the most out of Close.io
… be able to quickly learn about our product and API and how to answer all types of questions relating to it
… enjoy creating fun, educational content in the form of FAQs/webinars/screencasts/blog posts
… be able to figure out the root cause of complex problems starting with vague complaints from users
… communicate with our engineering team about product bugs and champion feature requests from users
… be more “technical” than most of your friends (advanced Windows/Mac skills, you’ve configured typical internet routers and modems, etc.)
… be available to work with customers during the hours of 8am - 6pm PT.
Bonus points if you
… have previous experience supporting SaaS products, using helpdesk software, creating documentation/FAQs, etc.
… have ever written any code (e.g. Python/Ruby scripts to migrate data or interact with external APIs)
