I am planning to travel to [illegible] Park and visit Mama’s friend nearby – [Leona?] Zichy – and I am doubly sorry [illegible phrase] to travel to this wilderness.

We have had a very dry and hot summer which has done a lot of damage to the harvest.

The grapes look beautiful but have suffered under this horrid heat – as have the people. [illegible phrase] but thank God has recovered. It has taken its toll and one has to keep an eye on him. He want so [illegible] like a young man – especially if his foot is being massaged – he is each time stronger [illegible]. Laszlo would [illegible phrase] he is so mischievous. Now

tell me how you are and the dear little ladies and is Philip[3] happy with his successes??? The Hungarian papers don’t want to write about him and that annoys me a lot as miserable things are being exaggerated and publicized instead.
