Leitfaden zur emotionalen Selbsthilfe für Menschen, die von Krieg und Flucht betroffen sind, sowie zur Prophylaxe von Sekundärtraumatisierung bei Helfern/Journalisten etc. Wurde von mehreren Trauma-Therapeuten gemeinsam entwickelt (verfügbar in Deutsch, Ukrainisch, Russisch, Polnisch und Englisch).

Friederike Engst bietet trauma- und fachspezifische Unterstützung für freie Journalist*innen an. Konkret geht es um psychologische Erste Hilfe in Krisensituationen und im Umgang mit traumatischen Erfahrungen sowie bei Überlastung und Erschöpfungserleben durch die Klinik am Waldschlößchen, Dresden./Friederike Engst offers trauma-specific and specialized support for freelance journalists. She offers psychological first aid in crisis situations and in dealing with traumatic experiences as well as with overwork and feelings of exhaustion through the Klinik am Waldschlößchen, Dresden. International offers

Guide for emotional self-help for people affected by war and flight, as well as prophylaxis for secondary traumatisation of helpers/journalists, etc. The free resource was jointly developed by several trauma therapists (available in German, Ukrainian, Russian, Polish and English).

The Samopomich programme delivers free psychosocial support to Ukrainian first responders including journalists who have been directly confronted with traumatic experiences caused by the war. The programme was developed by the Federation Global Initiative on Psychiatry and the Czech National Institute of Mental Health and is supported by Dart Centre Europe, as well as the Norwegian Union of Journalists. The Rory Peck Trust provides access to and funding for psychological treatment and offers trauma-informed training.

The international women’s media foundation runs the United States Journalism Emergency Fund to help journalists in need. Only U.S.-based journalists can apply.

The Black Journalists Therapy Relief Fund offers funding for mental health needs. Only black journalists can apply.

The Journalist Trauma Support Network provides a list of U.S.-based trauma psychotherapists working with journalists in occupational stress and trauma. They also provide other useful information for journalists on finding a therapist in the U.S.

The IMS Safety Fund provides immediate financial support for journalists in danger, including medical emergencies, globally.

The Committee to Protect Journalists offers emergency assistance and aid to journalists worldwide.

Free Press unlimited offers emergency assistance and aid to journalists in distress, including psycho-social support, worldwide.

The International Journalists Fund offers immediate relief to journalists in danger around the world.

The Coalition against Online Violence: Emergency Assistance provides a list of organisations offering assistance to journalists facing online violence.

The Media Freedom Rapid Response offers practical support for EU-based journalists in need, including mental and physical health care assistance.
