Twenty years of enterprise software development focused on backend services that run on the JVM.    Currently working on instrumentation and monitoring JVM systems.  A couple of years focused on high-performance Java/Kotlin Spring reactive microservices backed by a Cassandra with data loaded from source systems through Kafka.  Now primarily focused on backend JVM services to support observability.
