“All I Want for Christmas is…” Drawing: 6 points

Draw what you want for Christmas, whether that’s new clothes, art supplies, a book, etc.

• Can be any medium

Color Blocking Still Life: 6 Points

Create a still life out of 3-5 objects. Find objects of interesting shape/pattern, or even random objects.

• Try to experiment with color, blocking out the shadows and where the light hits with different values of colors
• Try to not “blend” just yet, as this is a way to practice understanding color theory.

Examples:

Happy New Year cards: Max 6 Points

Draw a card wishing a happy new year for your family, friends, or teachers. *Must have a photo of giving the card to said person as the proof*

• Can be any sort of card, but try to include art with a small drawing or cute design!

Points System:

• 2 cards for 6 points
• 4 cards for 6 points

Draw Your OC in a Christmas Outfit: 5 points

Illustrate your OC, if you have one, or any other character or person, in a Christmas themed outfit!

• Can be any medium, digital is also okay
• Ex. in a Santa suit, as an elf on the shelf, etc.

Winter Illustrated Poem: 6 points

Create a short poem or haiku about winter or christmas, and create an illustration based on it.

• Can be done in a sketchbook
• Any medium

Example:

Winter Sky Gradient: 4 points

Small artwork that shows a winter sky gradient (sunset, twilight, dawn, etc.)

• Any medium, but must include color.

Example:

Hot Cocoa Design Challenge: Max 6 points

Draw out cups of hot cocoa and create a unique design!

• Try to include: a festive cup design, toppings, and be colored)
• 1 cup for 2 points
• Max 3 cups
