Accelerated Reader Program!

We will have rewards for AR this year.

We will have the AR store where you can spend your points every nine weeks. You will spend them during your library time.

We will have the AR popcorn and coke parties this year. The parties will be every 9 weeks. The parties will be based on points according to every child’s personal goals. At the end of the year we will be giving away bicycles for the most AR points and bookcases and kindles for the students with the most reading growth.

Arkansas Diamond Primary Book Award 2023-2024 Reading List Children in grades K-3 should vote on these titles by April, 2024. Children must have read or heard at least three of the books from this list in order to be eligible to vote.

My name is Mrs. Denise and I am the elementary librarian. This is my 39th year of teaching. I taught Kindergarten and First Grade before I became a librarian. I have been married for 36 years and have 1 daughter named Cara, a son-in-law named Todd and a grandson named Beckham. I have been at Jessieville for 27 years. Of course I love books and love to read.
