Thank you for your interest in supporting #PayMariaTajon.

Yesterday, a representative from an external organization advised me to take the guide down as they coordinate next steps. I have not been in touch with Maria Tajon. She is in a vulnerable position and I do not want to overstep any boundaries.

Maria’s situation as outlined in the Toronto Star article illustrates a very harsh reality of neglect that migrant workers, especially live-in caregivers experience.

Hopefully I will be able to put the Action Guide back up soon so supporters can continue to take action. I truly believe showing support for Maria’s story can bring change.

If you would like to take action to hold Harvey Gefen accountable for Maria Tajon’s $28k in missing wages, you are welcome to take action on your own accord.
