About Marathon del Chocolate

Marathon del Chocolate is organised by Tango del Chocolate network. We aim to spread sweet tastes of Tango throughout the world. Our members come from all over the world including from Argentina To France, from Turkey to Germany, from Belgium to United States & Canada, Czechia, Japan, Netherlands, Italy, Russia, Spain, Slovakia, Switzerland, Sweden, Mauritius, South Africa, Uruguay, Panama and many others.

 Just as chocolate is appreciated around the whole world our Tango del Chocolate network covers all the continents!  Once again, thank you very much for the great interest you keep giving to our event also this year!

Bar and Beverages

During the marathon there will be always available tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fruits and snacks and the facilities to make your own chocolate fondue FOR FREE near the bar.  All this is self service, you can enjoy at your own rhythm.    

At our Bar you will be able to find most of the regular drinks that you can expect, BUT NOT ONLY THAT, as well the greatest selection of Belgian Beers! These beers are very special and you should taste them at least once during your visit to the capital of Europe, beers and chocolate.  Ask in the bar for the catalogue and help with the choice.

Foot massage

You will have a possibility to treat your body and mind nice, take care of your muscles, regain energy and make your body more concious, flexible and relaxed.

For those who attended last year this venue is the same, except that the entrance is from the other side of the block.  All events including premarathon, of course marathon itself (including lunch’s place) and afterparty take places there.

From Bruxelles-National Airport

1. There is a train from the airport to Brussels every 10-20 minutes. Get off at South Station (Gare du Midi in French, Zuidstation in Dutch)

2. Follow the instructions in By Train

1. Arrive to the Bruxelles-South station.

2. From this point on, walking is only 20 minutes

3. If you would like to take a tram instead of walking, take pre-metro number

Car parking

Car parking is for free on the street of the marathon venue during the premarathon, the marathon and the afterparty. Please read the instructions on the pay-machines for Friday daytime parking.

Catering

The dinner will be served in the refectory at the same place as the marathon in the given times, don’t rush and wait for a calm hour :) Don’t worry about getting hungry in the evening, around 04:30 there will be delicious selection of Belgian pastries and salt food as well ready for you.

We tried to prepare the best menu for you but if you want to have more of a local taste, Brussels is also famous for its mussels and (french) fries. You can try them in many restaurants in the city center and finish the with the famous delicious waffles.

Coffee, Tea, Water, Fruits are available for free during the whole Marathon.

We are very thankful that you have chosen to spend your precious weekend with bunch of other chocolate addicts.  Please pass your happy feelings to friends and negative comments to the organisers, for a better MdC next year.

We will have a Feedback form ready and will send it over after the marathon. Please fill it, it will take no more than 10 minutes ! And plus, you will earn 5 Euro discount for next year ! Please try to remember how you rate the DJs, food and the overall organisation to be filled in the form - for a better Chocolate next year.
