Jesus Gets Angry

The children will learn that a place to worship should not be a market place. 

Why was Jesus angry? 

  1. The teacher will discuss how different places in our community have their own purpose.
  2. The teacher will discuss to we come to church to worship God, and we go to the stores to shop.
  3. The teacher will read aloud the bible story “Jesus Gets Angry.”
  4. Review the bible story.
  5. Ask the children the following questions: Why did Jesus go to Jerusalem? Why was Jesus angry? What did he do that tells us he was angry? What did the temple leaders want Jesus to do?
