Web 2.0 Toolbox Technology Newscast Project - APP DEMO

- In groups of 4, you will create a 4 minute technology tv show demonstrating various apps that you use on your own Smartphone (no Snapchat or other mainstream app) . You must demonstrate a minimum of 2 different apps. Each student must present their own article.

- Your goal is to teach the class about the app you use, what it does, and why it’s important in your life. Include specific technology details such as platforms it’s available for and other pertinent details on getting the app. DO NOT READ about your app, converse it. Don’t want to talk about an app? Choose a new device or technology that you have purchased lately (Beats, Smartphone, Sonos, etc.) and review it!

- Your newscast will be assessed using a rubric on the following categories: 

* audio * video * dialogue * time management * entertainment/informative

You should create a script that will be be practiced in order to complete the time management portion.
