- Stunner gladly playing Black Knight on Turn 4 against StrifeCro with no Taunt Minions to kill. StrifeCro responding with Savage Roar to set up one trade.
- The final game was at one point Stunner 30 health, StrifeCro 6. And StrifeCro turned around to 16 health vs 16 health plus card advantage.

- Making mistakes/misplays
- Learn from them.
- Do not carry the frustration from a potentially game-losing misplay into your next game. It’s over, there are no redos, play your next game to the best of your ability.
- Am I the beatdown?
- You could play your deck the same way every time.
- Knowing when to play your control deck as an aggro deck or your aggro deck as a control deck is such an important skill.

Hey TAC peoples,
So yesterday I was in the arena playing a priest against a rogue. I was at 5 life and staring down 3 minions when I have an empty board and he has more than enough to end the game next turn. The only chance I had was to cast Mind Games and hope for something good. I get a Deathlord off of it, and I pause for a minute to see what I can do with it. I cast Divine Spirit, Divine Spirit, Inner Fire, and I now have a 32/32 taunting Deathlord with my opponent still at 22 life. My opponent draws his card and I swear I could hear him slamming his head on his keyboard as he concedes. I had some friends watching me play this game and all three of us were laughing hysterically after it happened.

My opponent got 2 Thaddius's out but couldn't attack with them when they were summoned because it was first turn and [thankfully] wasn't a Warrior deck so they didn't have charge in their hand; happened to have 2 big game hunters in my hand...quite satisfying

Hey guys and gal,
The brief discussion about arena this week got my gears turning. I have an idea that could be a fix for the imbalances that exist in arena. As Dills mentioned, the problem is more-or-less defined by the card flamestrike. It isn’t the card that’s the problem, though. It’s the frequency with which we see the card. Powerful cards are ok to have. Too many powerful cards, less so. So, what’s the solution?
Stop treating ‘Basic’ as a card rarity.
Currently, cards unlocked through class leveling are considered ‘basic’, and do not have a rarity assigned to them. In the arena format, these ‘basic’ cards are drafted alongside ‘commons’, so they effectively have a rarity of ‘common’. This is a problem when a powerful effect like flame strike is considered ‘Basic’. A powerful effect like Flamestrike is not a ‘Common’ power level card. It should not appear with the frequency of commons.
In Arena, you see fewer Rares than Commons, fewer Epics than Rares, etc. If ‘Basic’ cards were assigned a Rarity (but were still earned via leveling up and considered ‘Basic'), it would allow the development team the room to balance the limited format in spite of the choices they made creating the ‘Basic’ card pool for each class. It would also provide a solution without the need to alter the power level of individual cards, thus preserving constructed meta.

Hey there mothercluckers!
I have a question to pose in regards to buying packs from the store. The last week or so I have been contemplating buying a forty pack of cards since grinding for gold to get individual packs is slower than cold molasses going uphill during a Canadian winter. Which I'm sure Jocelyn knows all too well, haha.
Recently there was a post stating that there would be a new set of cards released soon (tm). My question to you guys is sort of an opinion question : if you were in the same boat as me right now, would you hold off on buying the forty pack until the new cards come out or go for it anyways?
Love the show, keep up the great work, and someone catch that damn chicken already! :p
