I was very interested in your portrait by Laszló some time ago [7626 or 7629]. He is to my mind the best psychologist of all the modern portrait painters – I have still some of my works left in London and I should very much like to have him see them –

as I do not know him personally it occurred to me that perhaps you could interest him to come and see what things I have – It would be very kind of you if you would – The struggle is hard – and one needs people who know their business – to get any footing at all in this slippery world –
