Digital is about breaking things up, Birmingham hit the news with regards to their library website costing £1.7M.
Agile or open standards? Digital seems to be becoming synonymous with agile. Agile needs to be balanced with a focus on reuse and architecture.
We need to start asking who benefits from digital. Is it the silo’s or the front line services. I believe its a cabinet issue. Digital is becoming more and more digital. It about driving new business models rather than just joining things up.
