Ali: Hello, everyone. I have a few announcements to make. The first of which is that there is not a new episode of PALISADE today. There wasn’t one last week. If you are still a user of x.com, you might be privy to some of the details that I am gonna say, and if you are not, it was an empty feed for a week, and I apologize for that. I should not expect anybody to continue to go to Twitter [chuckles] for updates. And if you’ve been in the dark, I both apologize and I’m, uh, keep living a beautiful life.

That being said, there is not a new episode of PALISADE today. There’s not gonna be a new episode of PALISADE for a couple weeks, because in the feed, on Thursdays—today is Thursday, we’re gonna get into this a little bit—on Thursdays, we’re gonna start doing the return to The Chime, The Chime’s first mission. COUNTER/Weight 0.1 through however many episodes there are. This was a sort of fundraising reward that we did back when we did a fundraising stream for the National Network of Abortion Funds, so that’s why we’re returning to The Chime. It was fun to do, I think you’ll enjoy it, you’re gonna be listening to it, it’s gonna be in the Friends at the Table RSS feed for everybody to enjoy tomorrow at 8 P.M. That’s weird, why… [laughs]

The real ones know that that is both early for a Friends at the Table episode—well, it’s late, technically, for a Friends at the Table being on Friday, but usually we don’t say, like, “Hey, tune in at this time.” The reason I am saying “Hey, tune in at this time, it is gonna be delivered on your RSS feed at 8 P.M.,” is because it is also going to be streaming on twitch.tv/friendsatthetable. We are going to be doing—we’re doing a debut stream. We did one for PALISADE and that was fun, and people had a good time, and we’re gonna be doing them for the Chime thing. We just thought it would be fun. It would be fun to stream it, and if you like to hang out in our streams, Friday 8 P.M. tomorrow, twitch.tv/friendsatthetable, the first episode of The Chime’s first mission. And then it’s gonna be continuing for Thursdays going forward. Thursdays at 8 P.M. is when the stream is gonna be, Thursdays at 8 P.M. is when it is going to be released in the RSS feed. The reason it is Friday instead of Thursday this week, this particular week, is because [chuckling] tonight we’re recording the finale of The Chime. So that’s a little look into the Friends at the Table production office. And that’s all I’m gonna say about tonight for now.

Um… Another thing is that if you just wanted to practice for the new year, new you, typing in for the first time, friendsatthetable.cash into your internet browser of choice, there is a free Clapcast episode. I was uploading it today because I was gonna make a Patreon announcement about all the shit that I just said anyway, and I was like, you know what? Why not just make it free? First Clapcast of the year, it’s one for everybody. You have to go pay for the Kissinger one, but for this one, it’s for everybody. Nice 30 minutes, have a good time. Put it on, laugh, fold your laundry, do whatever it is that you do when you listen to a podcast, and enjoy it.
