POLICY TO PERMIT DISBURSEMENTS OF TOWN PAYMENTS

(Signing of Weekly Payroll/Benefits Warrant and Payables Warrant)

In accordance with 30-A MRSA 5603, Paragraph 2A (1), The municipal officers may adopt a written policy to permit the disbursement of employees' wages and benefits when a disbursement warrant has been signed by one or more designated municipal officers.

The policy must be filed with the town clerk and the municipal treasurer and renewed annually by vote of the municipal officers,

The Town of Livermore Selectboard hereby adopts this written policy to permit the disbursements of Payables and employees' wages and benefits applicable to the weeks that the Board of Selectmen's meetings have been scheduled or weeks that may not have a meeting scheduled, provided the warrant has been signed by at least three members of the Board.

This policy is to be filed with the Town Clerk and Municipal Treasurer and will remain in effect for the duration of the twice-monthly Board of Selectmen's Meetings. At that time the policy will be revised and re-filed with the Town Clerk and Municipal Treasurer.
