Please wear comfortable clothes for movement.

MINDFULNESS FOR DAILY LIVING

Location:

Student Health Services, Murray’s Place (2nd Floor)

Dr. Patrick Savaiano guides participants in mindfulness meditation, which has been shown to be effective for reducing stress, anxiety, depression and increasing a sense of inner peace and contentment.

BIOFEEDBACK

@ THE ZONE

Location:

The Zone, Price Center

Come to The Zone and meet one-on-one with a CAPS Wellness Peer Educator who will take you through a biofeedback demonstration.  You will learn about the benefits of stress reduction through biofeedback, as well as a deep breathing and progressive muscle relaxation exercise.  After you learn these helpful techniques, you can return to The Zone to continue to practice biofeedback on your own

UC SAN DIEGO

Learn how you can flourish in this workshop led by Dr. Ronald Ma and a peer educator.They provide: an introduction to relaxation and mindfulness; knowledge for increasing your understanding of flourishing via social connections and self-compassion; guidance for how you could improve self-care.
