School Instructional Improvement Plan
Standard 1-Purpose and Direction-The school maintains and communicates a purpose and direction that commit to high expectations for learning as well as shared values and beliefs about teaching and learning. Overall rating 2.67
Goal-Teachers will engage in a systematic, inclusive process to review, revise and communicate a school purpose for student success. Indicator 1.1, 1.3
Objective: The school will communicate to stakeholders our school purpose and culture of teaching and learning.
Standard 3-Teaching and Assessing for Learning-our school’s curriculum, instructional design and assessment practices guide and ensure teacher effectiveness and student learning. Overall rating 2.92
Goal 1-Teachers will engage students in their learning through instructional strategies and use of MobyMax that ensure achievement of learning expectations specifically in writing and math. Indicator 3.3
School Objective: Implement a school-wide writing initiative.
Primary Objective 1: Students will write using complete sentences and correct punctuation.
Primary Objective 2: 50% of students will improve in basic math facts on Terra
Intermediate Objective 1 - 70% of students will improve in basic math facts on Terra Nova Scores.
Middle School Objective: 75% of middle school students will demonstrate and execute complete thoughts and proper grammar in a all subject areas. _
Goal 2-curriculum, instruction and assessment will be monitored,reported and adjusted systematically in response to data from multiple assessments of student learning, including terra nova and mobymax, and the examination of professional practice, specifically in writing and math. Indicator 3.2, 3.2.3
Primary Objective 1: Monitor student data in all avenues on both writing and math subject areas .
Primary Objective 2: Students will write using complete sentences and correct punctuation.
Intermediate Objective: Monitor student data in all technology related sources in both writing and math subject areas .

- Monitor student driven assessments and quick checks weekly.
Middle School Objective: Grade all writing on tests using a universal rubric for all middle school subject areas.
Goal 3-teachers will participate in collaborative learning communities to improve instruction and student learning ensuring the implementation of the instructional process in writing and math. Indicator 3.5, 3.6, 3.11,3.2.5
School Objective: Implement Professional Learning Communities for faculty.
Goal 4-School wide programs for parents/guardian will be established providing opportunities for parents/guardians to partner with school administration, teachers, support staff to enhance the educational experiences for the entire school community. Indicator 3.3.1
Objective: Promote parent/teacher/student collaboration for learning through school wide events.
_ Action Plan: Implement a math/technology night.
Standard 4-Using Results for Continuous Improvement-The school implements a comprehensive assessment system that generates a range of data about student learning and school effectiveness and uses the results to guide continuous improvement. Overall rating 3.43
Goal-Teachers, administrators and support staff will continuously collect, analyze and apply learning from a range of data sources, including comparison and trend data about student learning, instruction, program evaluation and organizational conditions. Indicator 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5
Objective: Implement recurrent professional development times for all faculty to review/analyze student data as a group.
Action Plan: Monthly professional development times(PLC) for all faculty to review/analyze student data from Mobymax and classroom assessments.
