Dear Mr de Laszlo
I have had an interview with Miss Preston – and am doing a sketch to submit to her tomorrow Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock – before she leaves London for the West Indies – which I hope will please her –[1]
My fee was not mentioned & I wondered if you had suggested to her what my fee might be – She wants a ¾ length portrait. Would you kindly advise me on this matter.[2]
[Page 2]
and please forgive me bothering you.
With kindest regards & again very many thanks for your kind recommendation
Yours sincerely,
Sydney P. Kendrick
