Desires for Weight Loss and Recovery
Time:September 24th at 4pm PST | 5pm MST | 6pm CST | 7pm EST
Link: https://www.umbrellapsychotherapy.com/events
Description: Join Niki DuBois, LCSW-S, CEDS alongside Meredith Nisbet-Croes, MS, LMFT, CEDS-C, RYT-200 for a support group for individuals navigating eating disorder recovery and considering weight loss.
Please note that this group is not suitable for everyone. We encourage you to reflect on your personal recovery journey and consider whether participating in this group would be beneficial for you. The group is specifically designed for individuals who have been advised by medical professionals to pursue weight loss but have received guidance from eating disorder clinicians to avoid intentional weight loss.
While the group will not provide strategies for weight loss, it offers a supportive space to explore and discuss the complexities of these opposing perspectives, as well as share your experiences, challenges, and frustrations. We hope to create an environment of understanding and mutual support as you navigate these issues.
