We are excited to welcome you back to school. It’s going to be a great year! We have been planning and working to ensure we are able to support each of our students' academic and personal growth. As we transition from Yellow Jackets to TIGERS our focus this year will be focusing on designing and building your future. Centralia’s future is bright and our students will lead that future.
Please join us as we welcome students and families to school. You will hear from Principals about our goals for the year, get your student’s schedule, and follow the schedule to meet teachers and staff. We will end the evening with ice cream and socializing.

The first few days of school is student orientation. We will focus on getting to know staff, class and school expectations, and time to reconnect with friends and meet new ones! We will ensure students are comfortable at Centralia Middle School, know our expectations, and ready to have a great school year!
Want to get involved? Please join our Centralia Middle School Parent Action Council! All families are welcome and we want you to join us! Parent group typically meets the first Tuesday of every month at 6pm in the middle school commons! Our first meeting will be September 10th (so it’s not the first day of school). Please Join us September 10th at 6pm at CMS Commons!!! All family members are welcome to join this group!
As questions or concerns arise, please contact us so we can help. Teachers are available to support your child throughout the year. Reach out to them directly if you have questions or want to better understand something in class.
