Dear Mr. Wills,

I have today sent cheques to the undermentioned:-

J.P. White & Son Ltd.                48. 0. 0

for work done to Pergola and Small Studio.

The floor has been finished, and I think it is now in a much better condition. If you have time to come over and see the floor, I should be very glad to meet you.

Regarding the Fountain, of which I talked to you about, I am afraid for the moment that I must leave it, as I have so many other expenses at present to meet.
