Overview
Kingborough Lions United Football Club (KLUFC) is seeking a volunteer Sponsorship Coordinator to service, maintain and retain Club sponsors. They are to manage the relationship between the club and sponsor to ensure that all sponsors are serviced to a high level. Obtaining and retaining sponsors is a key priority for the Club to support our operations and forms a vital part of our Club’s financial stability.
Responsibilities
In coordination with the Board member with responsibility for the commercial operations of the Club, the general responsibilities of the Sponsorship Coordinator include:
- Building and maintaining positive and constructive relationships with all KLUFC sponsors and providing a consistent point of interaction with all sponsors.
- Ensuring all contractual benefits are delivered to each of KLUFC sponsors across all programs and events.
- Maintaining a sponsor activation schedule for each sponsor that tracks all contracted activities and adds opportunities as they arise throughout the year.
- Ensuring sponsorship operational costs and revenues are managed to allow sponsorships to meet the margins and targets agreed on with the Club Treasurer.
- Ensuring that all sponsors are welcomed and included in Club activities and events, particularly ensuring that sponsors are invited to and hosted at NPL and WSL home games.
- Conducting regular WIP meetings with sponsors requesting feedback regarding how the club can provide ongoing value to sponsors.
- Coordinating and working with other volunteers to ensure the fulfilment of sponsor contractual benefits is done in the contracted time frames.

The Sponsorship Coordinator is expected to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of appropriate behaviour when engaging with children, young people and adults at risk.
- Act in the best interest of the Club and its members at all times, upholding the values of the Club.
- Have a level of knowledge of/experience with sponsorship management and systems.
- Possess strong verbal communication and organisational skills and be professional, friendly, energetic with a high level of attention to detail.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and confidence in interacting with others.
- Act in the best interest of the Club and its members at all times, upholding the values of the Club.
- Be diligent in completing tasks promptly and creative in exploring ways to improve sponsorship operations.

Compliance
- Current Working with Vulnerable People card is required
- Must register in PlayFootball as volunteer for current season
