UNITY Lutheran Church is a two campus congregation having formed from two ELCA congregations, Cross of Life (COL) and Christ the King (CTK), which is how we now identify each location.

Online Worship is live streamed HERE each Sunday morning at 8:30am, and then available to be watched at any time thereafter.

Current Worship Schedule (Fall - through Memorial Day)

For Weekend Worships: UNITY is currently served by Pastor Sherrie Lorbeck, Pastor Justin Kierzek, and Pastor Eric Silberschmidt, who is our Interim pastor as we search for one additional pastor. Most Saturdays, the weekend preacher is the pastor at that service. On Sundays, the preacher for the weekend travels to both campuses to share the message. Feel free to reach out if you need anything or would like to talk more.

Welcome Visitors! Please pick up a Welcome to UNITY bag at either campus.  If you’d like us to connect with you, please fill out a Welcome Card found in the bag, and also in the pews, and place it in the offering plate. You are welcome to participate in anything that UNITY has happening! (For the outdoor service, welcome cards are on the cart as you enter the pavilion.)

At UNITY, the Communion Table is:

Giving. If you would like to leave an offering to support God’s work through this place and our partners, you are welcome to do so via the offering plate passed during worship or Online HERE  or there is also a small card reader located near the fountain in the narthex at each campus. Instructions are posted nearby. This allows for a secure, on-site debit or credit transaction. Apple Pay and Venmo are also accepted.  Thank you!

Children. Kids are always welcome in worship! They are the best observers of ritual and listeners to the words of faith we speak week in and week out. Worship is about an hour. Kids’ worship bags are available in the back to keep hands busy if you need.

Nursery. Staffed childcare is also available at all services. Ask someone to show you where it is located. There are lots of toys to play with, a changing table, and a rocking chair if you ever need one.

Sunday School. Each week’s Bible lesson includes games, crafts, activities, conversations and connections. Anyone who is 3yrs. old - Gr. 6 is welcome to join in on the fun after the Children’s Message. (During the summer, we have Summer Sunday School for ages Pre-K through 3rd grade during the Sunday services). Register your child by clicking HERE . Pick a time that works best for you, knowing your children are welcome in any Sunday School class as your schedule requires!

Prayer Place cards - If you have a prayer request that you would like included in the Prayers for Friends and Family section in the bulletin, there are cards available at both campuses in the narthex near the bulletin board.  You can fill out a card and place it on the bulletin board and it will be included in the upcoming bulletin.  These prayer requests will stay for 4 weeks and then if you need further prayer, repost as often as needed. UNITY Altar flowers  Pick a weekend and campus location and purchase flowers in memory of someone, in honor of an anniversary or birthday, or just because. We have several volunteers who will be responsible for arranging a beautiful vase of flowers on your given weekend and delivering it to the church location of your choice.  At the end of the last service, you are welcome to take your flowers home and return the vase as soon as you can to either campus. UNITY Online Directory - We are in the process of updating our online directory system.  While we are working on this transition, please don’t hesitate to call the church office at 262-781-7600 to get the information you are seeking from Nancy or Lynn. Watch for further updates as they become available!

Thrivent Financial Members - Do you have a life insurance policy or other annuities through Thrivent (formerly known as Aid Associations for Lutherans)?  

IF SO, we could use your help in a couple of ways.


1.  Let us know if you are a Thrivent Member!  Then, we could contact you and have you “apply” for Simply Giving projects.  Each Thrivent member is allowed to “apply” twice each year to receive a $250. gift card to help offset expenses related to ministries and events happening at church.  Applying would be easy; we would give you all the information to fill out on the form and then follow up with how things went for you to fill out and submit.  These cards have been incredibly helpful, allowing us to use them for service projects, education events and more!   Contact one of the pastors or Matt Griepentrog if you are a Thrivent Member and would be willing to do this OR if you have any questions about how it works!

2.  Choice Dollars - For eligible members, there are “choice dollars” that accrue which you can designate to the charitable organization of your choice.  If you have your Thrivent information and log in to your account, you can search for UNITY Lutheran Church in Brookfield and designate any choice dollars EACH YEAR.  We used to receive several thousand dollars each year, but last year, we only had three members select us for their Choice Dollars designation.

All-Music Tuesdays! Enjoy a weekly evening together making music with family and friends! All-Music Tuesdays start in September and run through Mid-May except for holiday weeks. Nursery care and youth supervision are available. Parents, join an adult music group that rehearses on the same night as your child’s youth music group!
