A pageant of costume will be a feature of the Empire Ball Miss Olga Nethersole is organising to be held at Lord Leverhulme’s house, The Hill, at Hampstead, on April 30. Dancers may go dressed as the historical character or the greatest factor they think has helped to build up the Empire. Mr. de Laszlo has promised to paint the portrait of the winner of the prize for the best representation, and some beautiful costumes will doubtless be seen …
