Adding a Label Moodle ISU


 

Introduction

A label is used as a heading or section title on a Moodle page. With a label you can add text, images, and other multimedia to the page. It can be used to separate a list of items, as well as activities in your course page.

Add a Label

  1. Turn editing on. For more information, see Moodle ISU Overview
  2. Locate the week/topic to which you wish to add the label.  
  3. Click Add an activity or resource.

  1. Select Label.
  2. Click Add.

General

  1. In the Label text area, Type a description or title. You can also use this section to add links, pictures, and other multimedia.

Common module settings

  1. Set the label to show or hide.

Restrict access

Activity completion

This is only available if you have enabled Completion tracking. To enable Completion tracking, see Activity Completion.

To save:

  1. Click Save and return to course to be taken back to the course homepage.
  2. Click Cancel to delete the label.
