White Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

Prep Time: 10 minutes Makes: approximately 3-4 cups prepared frosting

18 ounces white chocolate

½ cup milk

1 cup butter, at room temperature

1 teaspoon vanilla

6-7 cups confectioners’ sugar

Place white chocolate and milk in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 30 seconds; remove and stir. Place chocolate mixture back in microwave and microwave for an additional 30 seconds. Remove and stir. Repeat this process until all chocolate is melted and smooth. Set aside.

In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, cream together butter and vanilla until smooth. Slowly add sugar, one cup at a time, alternating with ¼ cup melted chocolate mixture; repeating until all chocolate and sugar are used. Mix until frosting is creamy and smooth and desired consistency is reached.
