My characters based on Lemon Demon and Trapezoid/Deporitaz albums
All of these characters are based on and inspired by songs and albums created by Neil Cicierega. Without him and his music, these characters would not exist.
This document is always being updated. Is best viewed on a computer, format gets messed up on mobile.
(also, if you are someone who is actually competent and knows how to write good and interesting characters and stories, please don’t look at this document)

The main story
Henry Fletcher is a theorist and is very serious and over the top about his beliefs and theories, most of those theories involve aliens and creatures that aren’t animal or human.
Henry has built and created many different devices to help aid him in his findings and to help him learn more about extraterrestrials, these devices include things like language translators and trackers. Specifically a telephone he modified to pick up signals from and speak with other life forms.
One night as he was doing his research, his trackers begin showing him something and he begins picking up signals, he discovers that these are being sent by a group of unknown, alien type creatures (these characters are all based on Lemon Demon and Trapezoid albums) to try and learn more about humans. Soon after they established Henry’s location, they crash land in his backyard.
Henry tries to learn as much as he can about them, and they try to learn as much as they can about Henry, and they are forced to figure out how to live and be acquainted with each other.
About them
Clown Circus
This is Hazel, a circus clown monster. He’s mischievous, goofy, stubborn and loves to mess with people, but is overall harmless and mostly has good intentions. He enjoys music, bowling, playing with/setting things on fire, and making lemonade.
(He would sound like Sal J. Beauregarde from Spookyville USA. I think Sal’s voice and personality fit him well)
Based on:
Hazel’s Modus Operandi
Fire Motif
Bowling Alley
Wrong
Lemon Demon
Don’t Be Like the Sun
- Likes warm weather and going outside, but doesn’t like the sun, thinks he’s mean even though he hasn’t even met him
- Thinks everyone else is wrong, if he believes it, it must be true
- Good friends with Ozzy (Live from the Haunted Candle Shop) despite their different personalities
- Distant cousins with Raymond (Nature Tapes). He is his 7th cousin
- He is very good at making lemonade
- Loves playing with fire and setting things on fire. He mostly does it just for fun with no ill intentions, but that’s most of the time and not all of the time. People have a very hard time trusting him around matches and lighters
- Loves computers, always enjoys messing around and making little goofy animations
- Often has very weird dreams, which could be on account of him frequently eating large quantities of candy before bed and just in general.
- He likes to tell people about his dreams but doesn’t understand that nobody thinks other people’s dreams are as interesting as they do
- Thinks praying mantises are really awesome and wants one as a pet
- Naturally, as a circus clown, he loves things like circuses and carnivals
- Stays up until the very early hours of the morning most of the time, doesn’t like sleep that much
Live From the Haunted Candle Shop
This is Ozzy, a cyclops alien from the planet of Oz. He is friendly and easy to talk with. He has the mind similar to a child, but ever so slightly more literate. He likes candles, boats, and has a bad fear of monkeys.
(His voice would probably sound like Jake O’Brien from Spookyville USA, it makes sense to me. His personality would be like Double D from Ed, Edd ‘n Eddy, but a little less shy, and less smart. That’s what I imagine)
Also, this absolutely needed to be put somewhere here.
Look at him!!! →
Based on:
Oz Explodes
Switzerland
Boat
Party on the Moon
Fiberglass Monkey
- He was born on the planet of Oz. He’s very proud to be from there and loves to tell stories about his home planet
- He bathes in dirt from the moon and other dusts from things in space, similar to how chinchillas roll around in dust to clean themselves
- Can be rather neurotic in certain circumstances
- Good friends with Hazel (Clown Circus) despite their different personalities
- He loves Switzerland, so much so that he began learning German, as it’s one of their main languages
- Fond of boats, thinks they are one of the best ways of travelling, next to spaceships
- Candle making has been a very big thing within his family for years, his family owns a candle shop back on Oz
- He loves candles, not for their smell or anything like that, he just thinks they’re neat. He also enjoys making them
- Very fond of the moon, has been there many times
Hip to the Javabean
This is Albert, a pillow monster. He’s a grumpy elderly curmudgeon with very little to no patience for anyone or anything, he very much values his time alone. He enjoys sleeping, coffee, and sleeping some more.
Based on:
Telekinesis
Relativity
I Know Your Name
Consumer Whore
Behold the FUTURE
- Friends with Alec (Damn Skippy). Even though Alec is young, joyous and optimistic, Albert can actually bare, and even sometimes enjoys being around him
- Him and Alec both have the nickname “Al”, it’s mostly used when referring to Alec, but they (mostly Hazel, Ray, and Goodsie) occasionally call Albert “Al” to mess with the both of them
- Has telekinetic powers, always uses them to his advantage.
- Can read people’s minds and see their future, but doesn’t often. He knows how important and special this ability is, but he rarely uses it out of spite for everyone who wants to see their future
- Can correctly guess people’s names just by looking at them
- Hates the consumerism of modern day society, along with that, he hates the new generation of people, along with THAT, he just hates everything
- Very fond of Albert Einstein

Damn Skippy
This is Alec, a tiki monster. He’s optimistic, friendly, childlike yet mature, and is always open to giving people (sometimes helpful) advice. He likes colouring, the rain, cookies, and being outside no matter the weather conditions.
(His voice would probably sound like Neil’s voice, from the Trapezoid - very early Lemon Demon era)
Based on all Damn Skippy songs, but mostly:
Flamingo Legs
Sky Is Not Blue
Ode to Crayola
What Will Happen Will Happen
Dizziful Bliss
The Ceiling
- Friends with Albert (Hip to the Javabean). He thinks Albert is very wise and very much enjoys his company. He looks up to him in a way
- He is very curious, asks questions often. He loves learning
- Thinks people who are different from him are very interesting, he loves to know more about things and people he’s not familiar with. Difference fascinates him.
- Colourblind, but is in denial about it. Is very certain that the colours he sees are correct
- His tail is alive and can move freely while still being attached, but doesn’t speak. His name is Barnabus
- Has had sea monkeys before and took incredibly good care of them. He often talks about them, fondly and sentimentally
- Thoroughly enjoys looking up at the ceiling and trying to find shapes within the plaster. He does the same with the sky and the clouds and stars
- Eats crayons to the point where he gets violently ill, they are like candy to him (also frequents chalk from time to time)
- Very fond of all animals. Every single one
- Very scared of robots, gets very dramatic and paranoid about them destroying the world
- Loves getting dizzy, specifically by spinning around in wheely desk chairs
- Loves all kinds of weather, especially both very rainy days and very sunny days
- Loves words and what they mean and how certain words can mean more than one thing, it’s fascinating to him
Dinosaurchestra
This is Goodsie, a blue, hyperactive dinosaur. He’s high energy, carefree, loves music, and incredibly creative. He enjoys playing all instruments (but mostly his keytar), and running around and having fun.

- Has a large collection of CDs and records, naturally
- Enjoys mowing the lawn. Loves the smell of cut grass
- Doesn’t believe that there is a single ugly person on earth
- Loves the ocean, thinks sea creatures are the coolest things ever

View-Monster
This is Wally, a large, dark, spooky gangly View-Monster, concealed by an orange hazmat suit. He’s mostly friendly, a little awkward, but enjoys giving people a good scare. He likes afternoons, things that glow, and Calvin and Hobbes.
(His personality is kinda like all of the Xtacles on Frisky Dingo, and I think he would sound like them too. I know how goofy that is but it’s what I feel fits)
Based on:
The Man in Stripes and Glasses
The Afternoon
Nightmare Fuel
Bill Watterson
Something Glowing
Amnesia Was Her Name
Being a Rock Star
- Can shape shift into different, gross shapes, and loves scaring people with that ability
- Had an infatuation with a girl named Amnesia once, he now hates the word ‘amnesia’, due to the many things he associates it with, including crippling memory loss
- Loves Calvin and Hobbes, and because of his love for the comic, he developed a large affinity for Bill Watterson, having an obsessive, almost parasocial relationship with him
- Hates modern pop stars and rock stars, along with their music, but mostly just them as people

Almanac 2009 & Live (Only Not)
This is Al (Almanac 2009) and Elvis (Live (Only Not)). They are always together. Al is quiet and well-behaved, and Elvis is rowdy and mischievous. Elvis is always looking for adventure, and Al just goes along with his buddy. They are always up to something.
They are both based on all songs from their corresponding albums.
- Elvis’s crayon legs do not bend, so he walks like you would probably expect
- Even though his legs are crayons, he does not take any kind of offence to Alec’s crayon eating habits. Elvis does not care
- Al is very quiet, he only really talks to Elvis/only talks when Elvis is around. Nobody has ever really heard him speak
- Al and Elvis enjoy colouring, they often colour in colouring books together

I Am Become Christmas
This is Jasper, an anthropomorphic reindeer with candy cane patterned antlers. He’s quiet, unsure of himself, and is rather neurotic. He likes warm weather and quiet spaces.
Based on all I Am Become Christmas songs, but mostly:
SAD
Aurora Borealis
- Has Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). Ironically enough, he hates the winter
- Has seen the Aurora Borealis, doesn’t think it’s that great
- Has an actual genuine fear of Santa Claus
Nature Tapes
This is Raymond. He is mischievous, loud, goofy, but very friendly and open to new people. He loves trains, Goosebumps books, and really, really cool wigs.
(I feel like his personality, along with his voice, would be similar to Charlie Kelly from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, because I said so)
Based on all Nature Tapes songs, but mostly:
Everybody Loves Raymond
My Trains
- He loves trains and has a surprisingly large train set back at home. He gets very defensive and protective of his trains
- Has an affinity for unique and unusual wigs, has many, many dreams of these wigs
- Distant cousins with Hazel (Clown Circus). He is his 7th cousin
- Loves the Goosebumps books, has a collection of every single one of them
- Thinks Adrien Brody is a very handsome man
- …likes pick-up trucks
- Loves America. Even though he is not from there, or from earth for that matter, he is very patriotic
Spirit Phone
This is Henry Fletcher, a theorist who is very passionate and adamant about his beliefs and ideas. He’s anxious, jumpy and very reserved. When he’s not obsessing over his theories and projects or frantically calling into radio shows, he enjoys spending time with his cat, Leonard, and finally getting some sleep for once.
(His design is based off of Neil, but he is not supposed to be Neil)
Based on all Spirit Phone songs, but mostly:
Touch-Tone Telephone
Ancient Aliens
Lifetime Achievement Award
Spiral of Ants
- Leonard, his cat, is his best friend
- Likes most old 80s movies and television series
- Has an interest in bizarre urban legends
- Believes in ghosts, which might’ve been easy to guess

- Still uses an old CRT computer monitor
- Owns a lot of records, he owns a lot of weird ones, including one that consists only of people laughing. People that know him hate it
- Thinks ants are incredibly interesting and knows a lot about them. Keeps an ant farm
(These next characters are based on Trapezoid/Deporitaz albums. Some of the following characters have certain traits that are inspired by songs that are miscellaneous, or are songs from other Trapezoid albums but aren’t actually from the album the character is generally based on. I don’t really know why it happened that way)
Outsmart
This is Murray, a green, monkey-like creature. He is playful, imaginative, and likes to mess with his friends. He is similar to a bratty toddler, but slightly, ever so slightly, less irritating.
Based on all Outsmart songs, but mostly:
Murray Mix (and the Sugar Rush Mix)
The Murrayless Murray Mix
Evilness
C.O.W.S
The Monkey Song
Lights Out
AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
- Has a skull mask that he wears often, he treats it as if it’s his alter ego of sorts. He’s very fond of his mask, everyone else, not so much
- Really, really likes cows. Thinks they're our friends, they may even be our… best friends…
- Likes when the lights are off or when the power goes out because he likes sneaking up and scaring people in the dark
- Loves graphic adventure video games, he plays them a lot on Henry’s computer
- Being a monkey-like creature, he does not take offence to Ozzy’s fear of monkeys. Ozzy is not afraid of Murray despite his simian appearance, because he knows Murray isn’t an actual monkey, but that doesn’t stop Murray from trying to frighten Ozzy
Microwave This CD
This is Samson, a microwave monster. He is shy, anxious and is never too sure what's happening.
(His voice would be similar to Double D’s voice, specifically from earlier Ed, Edd n’ Eddy seasons. Edd’s been brought up twice now)
Based on:

Scope
Spiders
Sam & Max Disco
- Very close friends with Robert (Dimes). They are very much each other’s best friends
- Is very neurotic and nervous the majority of the time
- Likes spiders, thinks they are some of the nicest creatures, but he knows Robert dislikes them, so he keeps quiet about his love for them when around him
- The CD in his microwave body is always spinning
- Is usually dragged along by Robert while he goes on his expeditions. Samson is usually reluctant, but Robert always reassures him how “fun” it’ll be (it's never fun for Samson)
- Loves graphic adventure video games, but he usually just watches Murray play them as he is not well acquainted with technology
- Scared of zombies. Murray always teases him about it by dressing up as a zombie and chasing him
Dimes
This is Robert (mostly called Bob), he is a monster with a mug for a body, and a dime for a head. He is adventurous, excited, and is so friendly it makes people uncomfortable.
(His voice would probably sound like the text-to-speech voice used in “Yikes!”, but maybe a little less robotic)

Steam Powered Laserbeam
- On his home planet, he lived in Milkshake City, a very large city where everyone would go for clubs and just and all around fun time
