Raspberry Cream French Toast 🍓🥖
Ingredients:
• 1 loaf sliced bread (brioche or French bread works best)
• 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
• 2 tbsp brown sugar
• ½ tsp cinnamon
• Fresh raspberries
• 4 large eggs
• 1 cup milk (or half & half for extra richness)
• Butter or oil for cooking
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, brown sugar, and cinnamon until smooth.
2. Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture onto a slice of bread, add raspberries, then top with another slice to make a sandwich.
3. In a shallow dish, whisk eggs and milk together.
4. Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
5. Heat a greased skillet or griddle over medium heat. Cook sandwiches until golden brown on each side, about 2–3 minutes per side.
6. Serve warm, topped with extra raspberries, syrup, or powdered sugar.
