The Central Library is housed in the Academic block of the Medical College. The library has a seating capacity of 230 students. At present there are 15522 books in the library. There are 95 Indian and 89 foreign journals currently subscribed in the library. The Central Library has space for Room for Librarian, Internet, External reading, Journal reading, Reprography, Audio Visual, Staff reading. Current periodicals and Back volume Binding area etc. It has a digital library
There are two common rooms for MBBS students, one for male students and another for female students with attached Cafeteria & Toilet

This would provide for building up the teaching capacity of academicians, the Unit has adequate facilities for conducting teaching and research methodology workshops and on-going in house training programs.
Student entering the medical colleges undergo a lot of stress to adjust to the vast curriculum, new environment and different method of teaching and learning. To enhance emotional and academic well being of medical student, Student mentoring Programme is established at PIMS&RC under Medical Education Unit. Mentoring plays a important role in academic success and emotional well being of the students.
The College has an array of modern laboratories with state-of the art equipment. Trained staff provides proper assistance and guidance to the students
Facilities are available
Separate hostels for boys and girls with spacious, clean, and well-furnished living spaces and recreation rooms. Round-the clock security services ensure adequate safety to the inmates of the hostels. There is a dedicated committee consisting of wardens, assistant wardens and college manager—headed by the principal—to oversee hostel facilities, maintenance of discipline
Outdoor sports like Basket Ball, Volley Ball and Badminton are available and indoor sports like Chess, Caroms, Table Tennis have been provided for the benefit of the students
A well equipped Gymnasium is also been maintained at the Hostel for Physical activities.
Mess facilities are functioning in the Campus to cater the needs of students and teachers.02 Canteens are also available to cater students, teachers, patients and hospital visitors. Small service counters are available in the college and the hospital areas
The Chapel is a source of strength to students and patients
Rain Water Harvesting system has been developed as a secondary source of water for the Campus. Sewage Treatment Plant is installed for recycling of sewage water and the same is used for gardening and toilet flushing. Incinerator facility is available within the Campus for the easy disposal of waste thus providing a tidy and hygienic campus. Multicultural plantation is provided to make the campus green
A branch of South Indian Bank is situated within the campus to cater the need of students and staff members for maintaining saving account with minimum balance.
