Material selection

Selecting the finest quality components, such as large diameter name brand chip (CREE/EPISTAR/NICHIA), power supplies with Ja
panese E-cap and internal conformal coating (TDK Lamdba ), intelligent IC driving chip (MBI/TI).

2) Managing Common Risks:

1. Heat:
OUR SOLUTION:  Proper product design and heat management (e.g. large fans, deeper cabinet, large in-take vents for convection flow, eco power supplies)

2. Moisture:
OUR SOLUTION:

- apply conformal coating (25mil) to or complete silicon potting of LED tile print-circuit board
- use pre-treated waterproof power supplies, conformal coat all other components such as receiver cards and hub cards
- perform water spray test at a completed cabinet level

3. Connections:
OUR SOLUTION:

- Apply dielectric gel on all data and power connections.
- Use high level gold-plated (>.6mil ) pins and connectors on all connection such as ribbon cable header, data pins, RJ45 connector heads.
