Dear Mr de Laszlo,
I wonder if you remember coming one morning to our little Casa at Taormina, when Major Longden[1] was staying with us last year.
I am writing to ask your help with regard to a trip, we hope to do to Hungary, next April

or May; we hope to go to Budapest & then we want to stay for a couple of weeks somewhere in the country. I suppose you do not know of anyone with a country place, where we could stay as paying guests, & where I could paint, as we particularly don’t want to stay in hotels all the time. Also could you very kindly tell me the name & address of your young friend, who was

at Mr Kitson’s villa the afternoon we met over there as he told me he could give me information about music in Hungary when we came there.
I hope you will forgive me for troubling you.
Yrs sincerely
C Byng Lucas
