Vegan Eating in Norman

prepared by Jake D (2013)

jake_a_davidson@yahoo.com

So I decided to compile this list because I don’t think being a vegan should mean having to spend 20 or 30 minutes on my phone, attempting to look up ingredient lists for restaurants, every time we want to go out to eat.  Sure, you get comfortable with your favorite establishments, but sometimes someone else chooses the place, or you just need a change of scenery. ..in those instances, maybe you’ll find this list useful.

A few notes:

-Not every restaurant responded to my email or even had available contact information...so if you are wondering why things are left out, that’s a good possibility (although maybe I just forgot a place, so let me know if I’m missing something).

-The “comprehensiveness” of each entry is generally lacking...a semi-educated vegan can often come up with an item or combination of items from a restaurant's menu that fits their individual needs/tastes ...so be creative and don’t be afraid to ask the wait staff or chef for suggestions...they are generally very helpful.

-Most of these entries are basically just “copied & pasted” from the responses I received...so if the grammar is lacking, or the format is hard to follow, I’m passing the buck.

-This list is always a work in progress...if you have additions or subtractions just email me, and I’ll try to work out the details.

180 Meridian Grill

Salt & Pepper Tofu, Fried Mushrooms with Orange Peel Sauce or with Sweet & Sour Sauce.  We also offer vegetable lo mein, vegetable summer rolls, we can also do Path Thai and just leave out the chicken or shrimp and make it with tofu only.  Quite a few of our dishes can be modified to be vegan friendly as well, just replacing the meats with tofu or hearty vegetables in place

-(editor’s note)...180 offers 5 vegetarian sushi rolls which can easily be made vegan by leaving off the spicy mayo, geisha sauce,  and/or cream cheese.

747

Veggie Wrap/Burrito – Avocado, Carrots, Potatoes (cooked in olive oil), Cherry Tomatoes, Corn Salsa, and Vinaigrette.

Pasta Primavera – Rigatoni noodles, Olive Oil, Grated Lemon Zest, Cherry Tomatoes, Green Onions, Fresh Basil Leaves, Cucumbers, Carrots

Vegetable Flatbread – Olive Oil, Torn Basil, Roasted Roma Tomatos….what else would you like to see on this flatbread?

Strawberry Fields Salad – Strawberries, pineapple, blueberries, candied pecans, in a chopped lettuce blend with sweet balsamic vinaigrette.

We do have a Tomato Basil Soup as our all time soup, too.

...I am eager to know what you think.  I am very willing to work with you and the ingredients that we currently carry to come up with great options

Applebee’s

At this time we do not have any items that are entirely free of animal products. Applebee's does not claim its products to be either vegetarian or vegan nor that they meet the requirements for any other special dietary regimen. Dairy and egg products may be present in meatless recipes. Trace amounts of meat or animal products may be present as a result of preparation or cooking.

Auntie’s Anne’s Pretzels

Auntie Anne’s® Pretzel mix* does not contain any ingredients from animal, dairy, or egg sources. If you choose one of the following pretzels without butter

, they would not contain any ingredients from animal sources: Original, Cinnamon Sugar, Almond, Garlic, Jalapeño, and Raisin.

* Note about sugar: our pretzel mix contains sugar that is processed in a facility that utilizes bone char filters.

Arby’s Roast Beef

B. J.’s Restaurant & Brewhouse

We are always able to modify a majority of our menu items to meet the needs of our guests.  For Vegan requests we recommend you consult with your server but here are a few suggestions: Field of Greens Salad, no feta, substitute oil and vinegar as your dressing; Garden Vegetable Baked potato, without cheese or Alfredo sauce; House salad, no croutons, with oil and vinegar; and of course, our signature pizza crusts do not contain any animal products and can be made without cheese...our noodles are all egg free

Benevenuti’s

We have a lovely quinoa salad that is new to the menu.  Most of our pasta is made without eggs.  We can also make vegan pasta sauces to order. Please don’t hesitate to eat here.  I’m sure we can make something you will enjoy.

-(editor’s note) Benvenuti’s is very accommodating...the grilled veggie platter is large & tasty!

Our corporate nutrition specialist has compiled a list of Chili's vegan/vegetarian menu suggestions which can be found through the below link:

http://www.chilis.com/EN/LocationSpecificPDF/MenuPDF/001.005.0000/Chilis%20Vegetarian%20Menu%20Generic.pdf

Please note availability of certain items may vary regionally. Also note that none of our food items are certified vegetarian. Additionally, many of our recipes contain meat, fish, egg and dairy products and normal kitchen operations involve the sharing of cooking and preparation areas, including common fryer oil. Therefore, it is possible for any food item, including French Fries and/or Chips, to come in contact with animal products during preparation and/or cooking processes.

Because this list expires on a monthly basis, please be sure to contact us for an updated version or please bookmark the link and check it at the first of every month.

Chipotle

You should avoid our pinto beans (they are cooked with a small amount of bacon), meats (obviously), cheese, sour cream, and chipotle-honey vinaigrette

-(editor’s note) Chipotle is also the first chain to label all GMO products!

Chuy’s

We offer items that do not contain animal products, however all items are prepared on surfaces where traces of animal products can be found. Therefore we no longer feel comfortable passing the attached menu out at the stores, but I’ve gone ahead and attached it so you can at least get an idea of which items are considered vegan.

Please keep in mind, you can always talk to the manager on duty about any questions or concerns you might have.

-(Editor’s note) The Charro Beans, the guacamole, the tortillas, the chips, and the veggie side all appear to be vegan...you can also get a coupe of the vegetarian entrees, such as the Guac Tacos or the Veggie Enchilada, and request no cheese or sour cream.

Cici’s Pizza

the following items should work well for a vegan lifestyle, as they contain no animal products:

Pizza Dough

Standard Red Pizza Sauce (Not red Italiano Pizza sauce as it contains

cheese) Jalapenos Pasta Pineapple Bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, green

& black olives, tomatoes

Our website at www.cicispizza.com also provides allergen and nutrition information for you to view.

All of our stores will gladly make your pizza, exactly as you want.  All you have to do is ask the server and they will prepare it and deliver it to your table in a very short time.

Cinnabon

City Bites

We offer a veggie sub and a grilled veggie sub. However, our bread would contain egg and the hot veggie has grilled cheese. We also offer salads. Our Cow Calf-Hay burger restaurant offers a veggie burger that has had great reviews. We would be willing to bring it to City Bites too.Check out our menus online. www.Citybites.net and www.thecowcalfhay.net

Classic 50’s Drive-In

Cool Green’s

-(editor’s note)...Coolgreen’s offers a good selection of wraps, salads, & pizzas...you can choose the ingredients (and they have a good veggie & fruit selection), so making a vegan option is pretty easy.

Coriander Cafe

Appetizers:

Green Papaya Salad sub Fishless Fish Sauce

Spring Rolls (with crunchy or without) Choice of Veggie, Tofu, or Lemongrass Tofu.  Comes with Peanut Sauce, which is vegan, or substitute for Sweet Chili Sauce, also vegan.

Entrees:

Kid's Meal sub spring roll for egg roll

Banh Mi, no pate, no aioli.  (Note: When ordering  this with extra veggies or choice of tofu's, we automatically leave the pate off.  Aioli will need to be requested off.  It's vegetarian, but not vegan)

Rice Bowl

Noodle Salad sub spring roll for egg roll

Lettuce Wraps

Basically all entrees are vegan, since the guest chooses protein in a later step

Protein Choices:

Extra Veggies

Spicy Hoisin Tofu

Lemongrass Tofu

Note: When any of the above protein choices is selected in lieu of a meat, then fishless fish sauce is automatically given.

Add ons:

Peanut sauce/Sweet Chili sauce/Sambal/Hoisin/Sriracha/Maggi

Some pickles contain fish sauce, so it's best to ask.

Cracker Barrel

tossed salad, oatmeal, and baked potatoes.  If margarine is not a problem, they also eat corn, carrots, and fried apples..

It should also be noted that all of our fried vegetables are fried in the same oil as our meat products.  We want to make sure you know that some of our offerings, like turnip greens, green beans, corn muffins, hashbrown casserole, and pinto beans are made the old-fashioned way using meat seasonings and are not strictly vegetarian.

Crooked Crust

-(Editor’s note) They make a fine vegan pizza, just be to ask them to leave of the normal seasoning for the crust (it’s got cheese in it).

__________________________

Dara Marie’s

The only items that would probably be vegan are our veggie sandwich and our strawberry salad with house made poppy seed dressing. As far as the cookies, there are milk and eggs products in all of them.

Das Boot Camp

you can order any of the salads with vinegar and oil and delete the non vegan items, you could also get the shrimp cocktail without the cocktail sauce, all our pretzels are ok and you can always ask the waiter what else they can make for you.

Del Rancho

Dickey’s BBQ

Dickey’s Barbecue is not a vegan friendly restaurant however I have copied the link to our Allergen Menu below. We wish you the best in your vegan lifestyle.

http://www.dickeys.com/docs/Allergens.pdf

The Diner

Domino’s

Due to the nature of our operations, we cannot guarantee that our products will meet Vegan requirements.  Our stores contain meat and poultry products.

You can also locate ingredient information in our "Cal-o-Meter" (Calculate Calories), choose your pizza and build it or select from the products in the list, once you have made your selection click View Details on the right, get Nutrition Facts under Meal Details at the bottom of the page.

The Earth

we have vegan mayo and vegan cheese so anything on our menu can be made vegan. Our breakfast tofu scramble, biscuits and gravy, soysage, facon, pancakes... all vegan.

-(Editor’s note) The Earth is definitely one of the most (if not the most) Vegan friendly restaurant in Norman!

El Chapala

-(Editor’s note) The pinto & black beans are both vegan, as well as the guacamole, salsa, chips, & tortillas.

El Chico

There is nothing on our menu that is labeled vegan and our kitchens use many non-vegan items daily. Our refried beans are seasoned with bacon. The frijoles rancheros are not, so they can be considered vegetarian. Our rice is seasoned with chicken base. It would be difficult to accommodate your dietary needs.

Eskimo Sno

Fancy That

Firehouse Subs

Because most of our menu items contain meat of some kind, we are limited as to what someone on a vegan diet can order, but we DO have a couple of options. Our Veggie Sub, when ordered with no, mayo, no cheese, no mushrooms (which come packaged in a Worcestershire-based sauce containing traces of anchovy), is a good choice. The bread is not made with animal enzymes so that is not a worry. The other option would be our Chief Salad, sans the boiled egg. Our dressings do come already packaged so you would need to check on the label to see if they are vegan-friendly or not.

Forwards Foods

We have a veggie sandwich that is vegan, and our heirloom bean chili is vegan. We have a big salad called the Lisa salad that can easily be made vegan, and our house made salad dressing, a shallot vinaigrette, is vegan. So you could get a mini salad (just mixed greens) with either the chili or the sandwich. Sometimes our special soup is vegan, but mostly it has dairy.

Since we are a cheese shop first and foremost, we use a lot of ingredients from our cheese case, but we definitely have some delicious options for vegans.

Full Moon Sushi

Since our rice and vinegar both start out vegan, all of our rolls can be made vegan by asking to replace fish with asparagus or bell peppers or things like that (we try to change up the veggies we have around pretty often so they're seasonal and different. Also we can replace the fish roe that comes on some rolls with sesame seeds or just leave it off. And finally leaving out the cream cheese that's in some of our rolls or the creme fraiche or mayos that's on a couple of rolls.

We have a couple rolls that start out vegan already, the Veggie roll, Zanzibar roll, cucumber roll and avocado roll. From the kitchen, ask for the Asparagus appetizer with no Miso dressing or our house salad.

And if that is long and hard to remember, any of our chefs know how to make most any roll vegan friendly if you ask. Many of our vegan customers just come in and ask us to make up rolls for them and we're always happy to oblige.

Fuzzy’s Taco

Gaberino’s

Unfortunately our pasta isn't vegan since its homemade and has eggs in it. But a couple different options include our veggie sub made without cheese and served with marinara. You can also order a pizza without cheese. Or our spinach salad (without the dressing, it has honey) with no cheese. Also our house salad with veggies (raw or steamed) with balsamic vinegar and oil. You can also order steamed or roasted veggies with marinara or our mushroom and garlic infused olive oil. . I would like to start offering gluten free pasta so they will open up more possibilities!

-(Editor’s note) The owner’s of Gaberino’s (Mitch & Laura) are always ready willing and able to help with special menu subs.

The Greek House

Hideaway Pizza

We have a gluten free crust in the 10 inch size, which is delicious.  All our sauces EXCEPT the Alfredo sauce are vegan. Of course all our vegetable toppings are animal free, and our salads.  The dressings will be up to you to decide which ones you like, but the obvious ones with dairy like Ranch, Caesar, Parmesan Peppercorn, Creamy Italian and Blue Cheese are off your list.  You can order ANY pizza without cheese.

We do have 9 VEGGIE pies, that you can subtract the cheese from and if there is parmesan or feta on them, you can have that withheld as well.

Our pastas all have egg in the noodles, so those are out.  The sandwiches are all meat based so they are out.

The bruschetta is safe for you to eat if you tell them no garlic butter on the toast.

Jimmy John’s

Bread – Our bread is not vegan friendly.

Avocado- Our avocado is vegan friendly.

Cheese- Our cheese is not vegan friendly.

Chips – Our chips are vegan friendly, except the S & V.

S & V chips- Our S & V chips are not vegan friendly.

Cookies- Our cookies are not vegan friendly.

Jimmy’s Egg

Unfortunately we do not have any vegan options on our menu. I have gone over the menu repeatedly and cannot see any way to remove all animal products from the entrees.  I addition I am checking with our product representative to see if the oil we season our grills with contains any butter.  We do not have any cooking surfaces in the restaurant where we do not use this oil.  That would reduce your options to fruit or salad.  I am sorry to not have more appealing options for you.  Unfortunately breads, eggs and meats are what we built our menu around so removing them leaves little to offer.

Johnnie’s Charcoal Broiler

Due to cooking process and/or ingredients, our vegan menu items consist of the French fries and homemade potato chips.

J-Pat’s

Juan Del Fuego

You can always opt the meat, cheese and rice (because that is cooked with chicken stock) from any meal, but we do have a couple items without those. We have the Enchirito Vegetariano and a Veggie tostada available (just make sure to ask for double beans/no rice) Or for example you could get the Chilaquileggs with out the eggs. And our red, green and ranchero sauce are all vegan friendly!

________________________________________

La Baguette (westside)

-(editor’s note)...La Baguette West has a few items that can easy be made vegan, including the portobello mushroom sandwich, the pear and citrus salad, the Mediterranean PLate (sub Kafta for extra Hummus or Tabouli) ...most of the bread appears to be vegan.

Legend’s

Library

Our chips and salsa as well as our guacamole are vegan. You can also try our veggie nachos without cheese. Our pizza crust is vegan, so you could also try a veggie or tomato, basil, garlic pizza with no cheese

Little Caesar’s

A pizza made without cheese or meat toppings would be an option. The vegetable toppings do not contain animal products, although they are either canned or sanitized to prevent pathogen contamination, which could be a concern if they prefer to avoid cooking process. The Crazy Bread without Parmesan would be an option, as the Crazy Bread Spread is not dairy-based.

As always, the customer should explain his dietary preference when he places his order, as cheese does often come into contact with equipment and can sometimes come into contact with other food products.

Local

Our vegan options are noted with a VN on our menu - Vegetarian is V and Gluten-Free is G.  We have a daily Vegan Risotto, our Ratatouille can be vegan if we leave the egg and crustini off the top, and of course our salads can be vegan depending on the dressing and we frequently have a vegan soup option.   Take a look online at www.eatatlocal.com and 'like' our Facebook page to get updates on our daily specials.

Michelangelo’s

-(editor's note)...You can make the pizza vegan by leaving off the cheese and the basil (it's made with some cheese)...you van do the same with the veggie paninni (also, no mayo).

Midway Deli

We only have a couple of definitively animal free products at the Midway. Our Asian pasta and the Three Bean salad are probably the only ones.

Misal of India

most of our veggie dishes are also vegan and gluten free.

The Mont

Most of our salads come with some sort of meat or cheese so you can just ask for them without the meat cheese or eggs and substitute our black beans. Most of our side items, french fries, onion rings, steamed veggies, corn, green beans and mashed potatoes are vegan. For apps we have spicy fried green beans, fried mushrooms, guacamole, flour tortillas, and chips and salsa.  Other then that we really don't have other vegan options, even our garden burger contains cheese.

_________________________________________________

New York Pizza

We make all of our sauces. Specifically, our marinara sauce and pizza sauce contain no animal products. We often customize vegan-friendly pizza. For example, one regular customer orders pizza with no cheese and several vegetarian toppings such as artichokes, tomatoes, broccoli, garlic, etc. Our Antipasto salad minus the meat and cheese would also be vegan-compliant.

As I’m sure you realize, our full menu is on our web site (www.nypizzausa.rcom). Please reply with any other questions or concerns.

-(Editor’s note) The owner is very helpful when asking for vegan pizza!

O’Connell’s Pub

Old School Bagel Cafe

all of the bagels with the exception of cheese being added are vegan friendly, for example Jalapeno Cheddar and Asiago - and we do not add eggs or any dairy to the bagel dough. As for available sandwiches, the Veggie sandwich would be a great option (but minus the provolone cheese and the veggie cream cheese). Another option would The Dip, which is a bagel with a side of pizza sauce. A bagel with Jelly might be a third. We also have black bean veggie patties that are vegan friendly as well!

Ole Town Gyros

Olive Garden

The following items are recommended, however please be aware all menu items are prepared in the same area and subject to cross introduction with items containing meat and meat by-products. We must ask that you use your own discretion when ordering these items.

Vegetable Cannaloni.  It is mixed vegies rolled up in a pasta sheet, baked

with our homemade Marinara Sauce and melted cheese.  You can order it

without the cheese.

Also, none of our pizza dough contains dairy, so you can get a vegetarian

We have a Pasta Primavera on the menu, which is pasta tossed with Marinara

We also have gluten free pizza and pasta as well if there is anyone on a

gluten free diet.

Panera Bread

Although our products are not listed specifically as Vegan, we do list all the ingredients of all our menu items on our website; http://www.paneranutrition.com/ (and in notebooks in our bakery-cafés, which are available for viewing on request). For complete nutritional information, please see our Nutrition Calculator and click on "ingredients."

>Please note that the natural base listed in our breads is processed with non-animal ingredients. The country base and special blend are also made with non-animal enzymes. Our bagel base is microbial and contains no animal enzymes.  Our cheeses, with the exception of Asiago, Feta and Gorgonzola processed with non-animal enzymes, and would include our Asiago Cheese breads and Asiago Focaccia, as well as our Three Cheese Loaf. As a side note, the mono & diglycerides in our breads and baked goods are vegetable-sourced.

>For our salads, you can also substitute items, like nuts instead of chicken or tomatoes or other items in place of cheese. Our Classic café might be a possibility. If you have any questions about a specific item, please don't hesitate to ask.  Our Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich might work without the feta (and substituting another item)

>We delineate on our bakery-café menu boards, take-away menus, and on our website which menu items are vegetarian. Vegetarian soups are noted with the word "vegetarian" in the title, such as our Low-Fat Vegetarian Black Bean Soup or our Low-Fat Vegetarian Garden Vegetable Soup. In addition, we include a legend on our menu board for “vegetarian” items. Those items that are vegetarian – like some of our soups - are labeled with a “V”. If you do not see "vegetarian" in the name or the letter “V” alongside the product name, the product may contain animal-sourced ingredients whether by natural occurrence or cross-contact.

>Although we take great care in preparation of each order, please understand that, as with all food service organizations, there is still a risk of cross-contact between food ingredients during preparation and production. Specifically, we use the same panini press for all paninis. Paninis that contain meat are grilled on the same press as the tomato mozzarella paninis.

>For your additional information, many of our breads and pastries as well as some of the cheeses we use do not contain any animal-derived ingredients. There are many choices on our menu for vegetarians or for those who watch their diet for religious reasons. Again, if the product is not identified as “vegetarian” in its title or does not have a “V” alongside it’s name, the product is likely not vegetarian. We encourage you to check with a bakery-cafe manager when in doubt.

>Panera defines vegetarian as “does not contain meat, fish or fowl, but may contain dairy or honey.” If your definition varies from this, you will want to check the nutritional ingredients information for the item on the nutrition calculator on our website: http://www.panerabread.com/menu/. Or, see the Nutrition Manual available upon request in each of our bakery-cafes.

Pei Wei

There are a couple of items on our menu that are vegan and others that can be when modified. If cane sugar is not an issue for you, I recommend any items from our vegetarian marked menu items.

  • Edamame
  • White/Brown rice
  • Side of Steamed Vegetables

-(Editor’s note) None of the noodles are vegan...the tofu (velvet stock by request) is vegan...the Honey Seared (no honey used at all) is vegan...the Teriyaki is not vegan...The Hunan Veggie Lettuce Wraps w/ velvet stock Tofu are Vegan.

Penny Hill Subs

Pepe Delgado’s

(editor’s note)...I’ve heard that Pepe’s is very friendly to vegan requests.

Pickleman’s

Currently, our salads are vegan friendly if you order them without meat or cheese.  The dressings are not vegan friendly so your best bet would be to bring your own dressing or eat them without dressing.  You may view all of the different options at:

http://picklemans.com/salads.aspx

Our Corporate is working to offer more vegan options in the future and we will be sure to let our customers know once they are available.

Pho Sooner Restaurant

Pho Winner

Most of the items on the menu thats vegetarian is vegan friendly, except egg rolls (the wrap has egg), same for egg noodles, and butter in sandwiches. But everything is made as ordered so just tell them what you don't want when you order or want to substitute. If you want a sandwich/sub with tofu & no butter, they can do that. Customize as much as you need to. As for sauces, there are peanut sauce, egg roll sauce, fish sauce, and house sauce. Fish sauce is prob a no for you. But you can also request whichever sauce you want.

Pita Pit

We pride ourselves on offering fresh, healthy choices to our customers, including those with strict dietary needs or preferences. While our pita bread itself does contain gluten (it would be very difficult to create a pita that would roll up like ours without it), we do offer every pita as a "Fork Style" salad. So you choose your main topping, just like you normally would and then you have your choice of lettuce and whatever fresh toppings, cheese and sauce you'd like.

Please also see the attached allergen report for more information.

Pizza Hut

Pizza Hut pizza sauce, marinara sauce, and pizza dough do not contain animal products. However, Pizza Hut does not claim any of our products to be ‘vegetarian’ or ‘vegan’ as all products are prepared in a common area with meat products and cooked in the same oven. On request, the Restaurant Team will use additional caution when preparing products for guests with dietary concerns

Breadstick seasoning contains Romano cheese which has animal rennet. On request, the restaurant will not add this seasoning. The request may be added to the Special Instructions section of the online ordering; however, you may want to contact the restaurant directly

There are no animal bi-products used in any of our Pizza Hut crusts. The enzymes present in some of our dough including our breadstick dough, is used as a dough conditioner and is from a microbial origin.

Yellow Mustard

Zesty Grille

However, the only item listed above that does not contain sugar is yellow mustard. So if you are trying to avoid sugar, a salad without dressing would be your best option.

Our new potatoes and corn on the cob are both fine, obviously without butter. The only other item would be our smoked potato, however it is smoked on the same pits that we cook all our meats on.

Unfortunately, the majority of our items are NOT vegan since they contain cheese or meat. A few salads which contain no cheese would be considered vegan

Schlotzky’s

At this time, the only vegan items offered on our menu is the vegetarian vegetable soup (which is only offered on select days at select locations) and the garden salad with no cheese, croutons, or dressing. We do add milk to our bun mix, which is used both for the sourdough buns and the pizza crust on all sandwiches and pizzas. Additionally, our bun mix is processed in a plant where eggs are also processed, so we cannot guarantee that our bun mix has not come into contact with egg.

Sergio’s

We have some vegan options on our menu. All our basic pastas (spaghetti, fettuccine, penne and angel hair) are free of any meat or dairy (not even egg). Our marinara and garlic and oil sauces are free of any dairy or meat as well.

Our focaccia bread is vegan. Our roasted vegetable sandwich (with no cheese) is another option. The roasted vegetable salad and house salad are vegan.

Our pizza crust is vegan. You can make your own pizza without cheese or choose any of our vegan pizzas (or any of the set pizzas without cheese).

Some of our vegan clients and staff really like the pasta primavera.

Tarahumara’s

It's super-easy to eat vegan there. They're great about leaving cheese off. The rice isn't even vegetarian-friendly. So avoid cheese, meat and rice and you're pretty much good. Beans have corn oil in them, so they're fine. The verde sauce is vegan. Salsa is vegan. Guacamole is vegan. Chips are vegan. Tortillas are vegan. Drinks are vegan, unless you get milk tongue emoticon

They will sub beans for any meat in a dish. So por ejemplo (for example) , if one ordered chalupas with beans no meat or cheese or sour cream and double beans as sides (no rice) you would have some yummy vegan chalupas. Enchiladas verdes are the easiest menu item, just order w/o cheese and double beans, no rice. Bam. It's that easy.”
