As a little project back in January 2003, I bought a how-to book on building websites and used our club as the basis for my first project. It was all hand-carved HTML and although perfectly functional, was quite a faff to maintain. Several years later I migrated everything to a Blogger.com, where it remains.
Much of the content from the old site - fixtures and so on - was migrated, but there was some history from those earlier years which wasn’t so easily moved. It’s a shame to lose it all, so after a bit of editing, I’ve archived those news items from the past that may still raise an eyebrow, especially if you were there yourself. Here they are, organised by year.
UPDATE: 4th May 2018: Because my ISP no longer throws in free web-hosting, I’ve archived these pages with the help of the estimable Internet Archive; for which, many thanks.
