What We're Learning

Reading/ELA

We will continue Unit 2: Early Civilizations. In this unit, we will be working on research-based writing. Daily grades will be taken throughout the week. Students will also receive their morphology words, inter- on Monday. They will have a test using these words in a sentence on Friday.

Science/Social Studies

We will be finishing up the Earth unit this week. Their test will be on Friday, September 19th. Study cards and charts were sent home for them to use to study with. After this, we will begin our unit on World War 1 and the Roaring 20’s.

Math

Students will continue working on division using a variety of strategies. There will be a vocabulary quiz on Thursday and a division grade on Friday. A vocabulary study guide will be sent home on Monday.
