Week of Sept. 23, 2024

On September 24th Angelo visited  5th grade in the LGI room.                               

                       

FIRST GRADE-The First Graders at the EC have been busy settling into the new routine of no longer being the littlest Indians. They have been working hard following our BRAVE expectations, diving into the Bookworms program and setting a good example for the Kindergartners.

They have been especially excited to be the first to read the new Bookworms books, a crowd favorite was “What was that?” Said the Cat! and are looking forward to read a trio of books about a small, yellow dog named Biscuit.

 

Science explorers learned about non Newtonian fluids! And the science word for the day was "viscosity.” They made magnetic slime and were able to move it with a magnetic wand.

String slime was also created as seen in the photos!
