Lucky is a multimedia remake of Luchino Visconti’s Death in Venice from 1971. Itself an adaption of the 1912 Thomas Mann novella, the film has been a fashion favourite for decades (e.g. Karl Lagerfeld’s 2010 cruise collection for Chanel) and is considered a totally important cinematic masterpiece.
