- A Limited List of Resources Compiled by the Asian American Resource Workshop (a small grassroots pan-Asian organization) (Boston and Massachusetts specific with some national resources)
- This toolkit and resource list was compiled by the Asian American Resource Workshop (AARW). AARW is a Boston-based non-profit that works for the empowerment of the Asian Pacific American community to achieve its full participation in U.S. society. Resources and organizing opportunities have been sourced from our network of non-profit and community organizations in Boston and the greater Boston area.
- We plan on updating this resource regularly! You can reach us at info@aarw.org or comment on this document and we can add other resources!
Overview:
Collective care/mutual aid
Mutual aid: voluntary reciprocal exchange of resources and services for mutual benefit. It is a communal way to give and receive support. It is when people work together to meet each other’s basic survival needs and practice care with a shared understanding that the systems we live under are not going to meet our needs and we can do it together RIGHT NOW!
