What is this website? Why have I chosen it? What is the purpose of this website? What is the target audience of this website? Is it a Static or Dynamic website?

This website is www.amazon.co.uk  I have chosen to use this website because I use it very often and think that it is very useful. The purpose(s) of this website are to allow people to buy and sell products online, check up on orders placed and browse products. The target audience of this website is anybody with a bank account beginning from the age of 16, younger kids would be able to look at products that they like but to be able to make a purchase they would need to have an older person with a bank account buy it for them. This website is a Dynamic website because it has a search function and customer support section. The pictures also are on a slideshow which also make the website more interactive

Features of the website – Search box – One of the main features on the website mainly used when you want to search for a specific item, if you know what you’re looking for it is the fastest way to find a product. If there was no search box on the website many customers would leave due to inconvenience.

Clickable Images – This website features clickable images which take you to the product which is displayed as the image. This makes the website easy to use and convenient if the product displayed is something if you are interested in.
