Audio Overview
The speaker and the listener are both at a house party. The listener is sitting under a skylight in the house to get away from the party. The speaker walks in on them and they start to talk. Romance ensues.

Oh! I’m really sorry, I didn’t realise anyone was in here.

(Concerned) Are you okay? You look… Sad.

Do you mind if I come and sit with you?
(Short Pause)
Wow, it’s really pretty up here, you picked a good spot.
(Short Pause)
So uh… what brings you up here?
(Short Pause)
Just not a party person? That’s… understandable. If that’s the case, why did you come in the first place?
(Short Pause)
You got dragged here by your friends? Ah, that sucks.
(Short Pause)
Oh me? I just needed a break. I helped organise this party so I’ve been here pretty much all day getting everything sorted ready for tonight. Not only that, it’s super hot downstairs and between you and me, everyone sucks at dancing. (You Laugh)
(Short Pause)
At least I got a smile out of you (You Laugh)

Noooo don’t hide away from me, you have a wonderful smile, don’t hide it.

Ah, your friends were making fun of you for being shy? That’s awful. You deserve ten times better than that, and anyways, shy people are cool. At least I think so.

I’m being honest! You seem really down to earth, I’m sorry that your so-called friends don’t see that… Word of advice, people like that aren’t worth being friends with.

Hey, the sky is really clear tonight. If you look just over there you can see my favourite constellation.

Yup, Orion is my favourite. My grandma and I used to stare at the stars for hours, it was the first ever one she showed me, so it’s always had a special place in my heart.
(Short Pause)
Oh that’s a good choice, I like that constellation too. I also love looking at the moon, it’s beautiful. Almost as beautiful as that smile of yours.
(Short Pause)
(You Laugh) Okay okay, that was pretty cheesy, but it’s true. I… I think you’re beautiful. I know we haven’t known each other very long, but there’s just something about you…

You know, I always dreamed of having a skylight like this in my home. When I was growing up I always thought of falling asleep looking out at the stars, I always found comfort in that thought.
(Short Pause)
I’m glad we’re on the same page. I mean, we can stay up here as long as we want, everyone is still partying pretty hard, plus the night is still young so we have all the time in the world to look out into the sky.
(Short Pause)
Oh… yeah. I guess I am pretty passionate about it. My grandma used to show me all the constellations she could spot whilst I was growing up. When I was 8 she brought me this really cool telescope and ever since I just haven’t stopped looking up into the sky. I just find immense comfort in the sky, I love everything to do with it. One of my favourite pastimes is heading up to the lookout point and watching the sunset or sunrise over the city. It’s truly breathtaking.
(Short Pause)
I mean… yeah! I’d love it if you wanted to come with me. Maybe it could be a date?
(Short Pause)
(Panicked) I’m sorry, was that too forward? I-
(Short Pause)
You’d like that? Cool. Well, how about we stay up here for a bit then just before the sun comes up we can go and watch the sunrise? I’d love to experience it with you.
(Short Pause)
Okay cool, we’ll sneak out in a bit, if anyone sees me they’ll drag me back so we’ll sneak out the front door, my car’s parked just around the front. But for now, let's keep looking at the stars.
[Scene ends]
[New Scene, The listener and speaker have driven out to the lookout point. SFX; Car door opening, Nighttime ambience]

(Short Pause)
I love this spot, the sunrise over the city is breathtaking. If you come sit over here with me you’ll get the best view.
(Short Pause)
You’re shivering. Here, take my jacket.
(Short Pause)
There, Is that better?
(Short Pause)
Good. It looks better on you anyways.
(Short Pause)
[The listener gently hits the speaker.]
Ow! (You Laugh) I’m just being honest, you look super cute wearing it (You laugh again)
(Short Pause)
Okay fine, enough with the cheesy compliments… Maybe. (You Laugh)
(Short Pause)
Hey, thank you for coming up here with me, it’s nice to have company for once.
(Short Pause)
You’re welcome. I’m glad you’re smiling again. If I hadn’t found you earlier I’d hate to think how you’d be feeling still. I mean, you’d still have that really cool skylight to look out of but you’d still be stuck with those horrible thoughts your friends left you with. I hope this has cheered you up.
(Short Pause)
[The speaker puts their arm around the listeners shoulders.]
What? You’re still shivering so I’m just trying to keep you warm.

Okay maybe that’s not the only reason. Maybe.. I just wanted to cuddle with you.
(Short Pause)

(The speaker kisses the listener on the cheek. SFX: Kiss)

(The listener pulls the speaker in for a proper kiss. SFX: Kiss)

It was… unexpected, but not unwanted. I’ve wanted to do that all night…

That party might’ve been really lame, but at least I found you. Call me crazy, but maybe we were destined to meet each other? Like fate or something?

You feel the same? Okay I’m glad I’m not the only one.

It’s getting late, I mean technically it’s early but anyways… I can drop you home, I can see you’re slowly falling asleep.

No it’s okay, you’re tired and it’s been a long night. As much as I want to spend more time with you it's more important that you get some rest. How about once we’re both awake we can go grab lunch together or something?
