Introduction
This document will contain resources and information regarding #freehaiti & #handsoffhaiti. Along with resources, this is a documentation of anti-haitismo/anti-haitianism in the Caribbean and Latin America, foreign intervention, US occupation, ethnic cleansing, apartheid, and the general abuse of Haitians.
Please, not only take the time to read some of the information provided for all topics talked in this document, do your own research as well and speak up for the rights of Haitians across the world! This is an incomplete document; one document can not explain the abuse done to Haitians since 1791, but at the very least, let this be a starting point.
Please feel free to share this document with anyone who wishes to learn and help. Any Haitian with links to articles or videos that can provide further explanation to any of these issues can DM @hobiebrownies on twitter!
This is an ongoing document and I will be adding more information as I find it, so please check back regularly.

Foreign Interference & “Aid”
Imperial-Aligned Leaders, Foreign Meddling, and Foreign Coups and in Haiti
Since the Haitian Revolution, Haiti has had more than 60 heads of state. Many of them have been bourgeois, mixed-race, and France/US Educated. Very few have acted primarily in the interest of the Haitian people/liberation effort, and of those few, all were either deposed or assassinated with clear foreign interference. Many corrupt leaders have been deposed and/or assassinated as well, either by the Haitian people or political rivals. Here is a (non-exhaustive, slightly out-of-date) list of leaders recognized by the US State Department. Beginning with Philippe Sudré Dartiguenave, all leaders 1915-1934 were directly placed by the US government during its occupation.
The following list serves as a compilation of sources about notable foreign-backed and liberation-seeking leaders.
