How can I Install academic software (Maple, Mathematica, Matlab) on my system?
CIS maintains campus-wide licenses for several software packages for academic use. Detailed instructions for the most common applications (Matlab, Mathematica, and Maple) are included below. Additional academic software can be found in this Share Drive, which you will need to access using our @g.hmc.edu credentials.

Maple
- Visit the Maple download page to download the installer.
- Enter the purchase code for Maple 2024: WEKQPSGWMY9SW7NX
- Choose Maple 2024 and then select your operating system to download the installer.
- Run the installer, choose “Single User License”, and select the default installation options.
Mathematica (Online or Desktop)
- Visit the CIS Service Catalog for Wolfram Software and follow the instructions there.

Matlab
- Visit tMatlab Portal and log in using your Mathworks account. If you do not have an account, create one using your username@hmc.edu credentials.
- Choose to download the installer and select your operating system.
- Run the installer and log into your Mathworks account again.
- Select “Individual” license and complete the installation process.
