The Hungry Tortoise

Jack and Jill  were both 8 years old. They lived in a house in the forest.The forest was next to a beach. Every night they heard stories from their mum or dad.This night they heard the story by Mum. It was about a giant  tortoise that was hungry. Who lost his Mum in the sea.Now she has to hunt by it self.The story ended and jack and Jill were  asleep then there mum quietly got of there room.5 minutes from when there mum got out they were awake by a strange voice Jack said,

"who could that be in the middle of the night"

Jill replied,"Let's go and explore"

They were in the forest they followed the strange noise until they met a giant tortoise. Jack said,

"Wow just like in the story we read"

The tortoise was not friendly,as it was stomping. ,"I think   it is hungry just like in the story"

Jill said.

How did the people in the story kill the giant tortoise"

Jack shouted to jill.Jill replied,

 "I forgot but I got an idea  you  can go and go home and read the book and find out the what was the weakness of the it  I will try to distract him"

Jack said in a loud voice,"OK I will run as fast as a  cheetah"

Jack read the book and found out the tortoise weakness. It's weakness is when it is tackled.

Jack went to Jill and whispered,"it's weakness is when it is tackled it will full on the ground and by the time it is up we are going to be out of here"

Jill replied in a scared voice," It doesn't know where we live does it"

 Jack said " Of course it does not know where we live "

So they tackled the giant tortoise.The giant tortoise was on the ground Jill shouted,

 " Run!"

They were safe. They never went to the forest alone because of that incident.
