  1. Start the Right Way - There’s the way you start and then there is the right way

  1. Fighting for your rights - Governance in our sport requires involvement at the local and national level.  Recently, Ben Lorenz attended a standing committee meeting of Wisconsin Swimming.  Ben was representing the interests of athletes.  Hannah Saiz went to the USAS Convention in Atlanta, and Lindsey Bjornstad will represent SSTY at WI Swim Meetings.

  1. New Schroeder Team Gear - follow the link to the Elsmore Sports Schroeder team page  You can always find it by looking under the performance partners column of the website.   We have selected new team suits, warm ups, and parkas.  The suits are made of bulletproof Speedo endurance fabric, they have the Schroeder S logo, will last for a LONG time and are great for training and meets.  The warm ups are very attractive and are a new line from Speedo.  Parkas are warm and coming back into popularity - this year’s has red accents.

  1. Habitudes - is an ongoing leadership development program that Schroeder’s Senior Team is working on with Coach Eric Johnson leading the sessions. Schroeder alumni Anna and Grant Burrall have underwritten the cost of the program.  Habitudes uses images and videos to spark thought, discussions and promote participation in group exercises helping the swimmer/diver to understand what it takes to become an internal and external leader.  With all of the devices in front of everyone and with future generations growing up with pads, phones, and computers in their hands, the program is geared towards education through innovation.
