- A nonprofit organization founded by Bryan Stevenson a public interest lawyer and bestselling author. This nonprofit is dedicated to ending mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the U.S. Fighting racial and economic injustices that target vulnerable populations in America.
- NBO is a Black-centered and Black Led collective of organizers, lawyers, activists, and community members working towards ending systems of mass incarceration.
- BLM was created in direct response to the murder of Trayvon Martin in 2013. Since then it has become a global organization working to eradicate white supremacy and build bottom-up or local power to create a more equitable world for black lives.
- A nonprofit organization based in Minnesota working black liberation! They are an intersectional group highlighting the importance of ALL black lives.
- An organization that works with community members and city council members to reallocate police funds into other services in the city that promote overall community health and safety. This is more aligned with defunding/divesting the police.
- It is a foundation dedicated to giving art a larger platform in communities. Their mission is centered by 3 core values: Black people matter, black spaces matter, and black objects matter. The work that’s done through this organization supports local artists, strengthens, uplifts, and empowers communities.
- A nonprofit organization created in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina. They are the nation’s largest racial justice organization online. A multifaceted approach to ending racism internationally.
