Tool Shutdown

Normal and Emergency Shutdown:

  1. Push red OFF button labeled Control Power on upper left of the panel (you may have to take off the clear plastic cover - just lift it slightly and pull it towards you.)
  2. Shut off E-beam circuit breaker if it is on
  3. If PCW has issues, water valves are at back of machine

Tool Startup and Power Bump Recovery

Power Failure and Startup Procedure:

  1. Push the black On/Reset button labelled Control Power - it’s  left side of the top panel.   You have to remove the clear plastic to turn it on - lift it slightly and pull it towards you.  

  1. Walk around to the back of tool and look at temperature gauge on back of cryo.

  1. If the gauge on the cryo pump reads <25k and the TC1 cryo pressure is below 40mT, then the cryo is okay.  
  1. The system is now okay to run.
  2. Replace the  clear plastic panel

                                                     

  1. If the gauge on the cryo pump reads >25k, and/or the cryo pump TC  pressure is >40mTorr then there is condensation on the cryo and you need to initiate Cryo Pump Regen Procedure
