WOW Search Agent Users Guide
WOW Search Agent (WSA) allows users to save any query in which WSA is enabled. WSA will then re-run that particular query on a set schedule and return the results of said query to the specified email address(es). Below are the details for setting up a Search Agent entry if WSA is enabled for a query.

Creating a Search Agent for Your Query Results
If a search query is enabled for Search Agent, the following "Save Query as Search Agent" button will be displayed along with the search results:
This button will give you the ability to save the query that was just run (including all of the search parameter values) as a search agent entry and have the search agent results sent as an email on a daily basis. When you click on the button, you will be prompted with a screen similar to the following:
- Sending Information
- Active – Is this entry active (should email reports be sent at this time)?
- Format – Only the "HTML email" format is supported at this time.
- Send if Empty – Should a report be sent if the results are empty?
- Restrict to Last 48 Hours – Should the results be restricted to the last 48 hours only?
- Send to Email ID – the recipient email ID for the emails (required). Email addresses may be separated by semicolons ( ; ) to send to multiple recipients.
- Report/Email Title – The subject or title of the email (required). Helps identify each search agent defined.
- Duration to Run
- Start Date – When should the search agent entry become active?
- End Date – When should the search agent entry expire?
- Report Frequency
- Report Frequency (Days) – How often, in days, should the report be sent? Currently only once a day is the default.
Managing Your Search Agent Entries
When you run My Tools --> Manage My Search Agent Entries, you will be shown a list of your search agents entries currently defined:
The icons to the left of each entry let you view, edit or delete your search agent entries.
